Delete Your Data in RightOffs

RightOffs is operated by Socrates ONE LLC. This page explains how to delete some or all of your data while keeping your account.

You don't have to delete your account to remove your data. From inside the RightOffs app (mobile or web) you can delete specific data at any time using the steps below. If you instead want to delete your entire account, see our account deletion instructions.

Delete a connected bank and its transactions

Disconnecting a bank revokes the connection and permanently deletes all transactions imported from that bank.

  1. Open RightOffs and go to Bank Connections (in the menu) or Settings → Connected Accounts.
  2. Choose the bank you want to remove and tap Disconnect.
  3. Confirm. The connection and its imported transactions are deleted right away.

Delete individual transactions

  1. Open the transaction you want to remove.
  2. Tap Delete and confirm. Manually added transactions are removed permanently.

Delete receipt images

  1. Open a transaction and view its attached receipt, or open the receipt manager.
  2. Tap Delete on the receipt to remove the image permanently from storage.

Export your data first (optional)

Before deleting, you can download a portable copy of your data from Settings → Privacy & Data → Download Your Data.

What is deleted and what is kept

  • Deleted: the specific items you remove — bank connections and their transactions, individual transactions, and receipt images — are permanently deleted.
  • Kept: your account and any data you don't delete remain available so you can keep using RightOffs.
  • Backups: residual copies of deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which they are purged.
  • Legal/financial records: limited records (e.g. payment records) may be retained where required by law.
