By accessing or using RightOffs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use our services.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to use RightOffs. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

3. SERVICES

RightOffs is a professional financial reporting platform designed specifically for independent professionals and CPAs. Our platform enables users to:

Generate professional Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
Connect bank accounts securely (via Plaid) for automated transaction import
Categorize income and expenses with business-appropriate categories
Store and manage receipts digitally
Create CPA-ready financial reports that require minimal cleanup
Collaborate with CPAs through our professional reporting workflow

The platform includes AI-enhanced features for receipt scanning, smart transaction categorization, and automated financial statement generation designed to meet professional accounting standards.

AI-Powered Categorization: When you use our "Need help deciding?" feature for category suggestions, transaction details (merchant name, amount, description, and any notes you provide) are processed by our AI partner (Anthropic/Claude) to generate intelligent recommendations. AI suggestions are provided as guidance only - you are responsible for reviewing and confirming all categorizations for tax accuracy. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI suggestions, and you should consult a tax professional for specific tax advice.

CPA Collaboration: We actively collaborate with licensed CPAs to ensure that all financial categories, reporting formats, and tax classifications remain aligned with current IRS guidelines and professional accounting standards. This ensures users and their CPAs can confidently rely on our reports for tax preparation and business analysis.

4. AFFILIATE PROGRAM

RightOffs operates an affiliate partner program for CPAs, accounting firms, and other qualified professionals. Participation in our affiliate program is governed by our separate Affiliate Partner Agreement, which includes specific terms for commission payments, marketing guidelines, and partnership obligations.

Affiliate Program Features:

Commission-based referral system for qualified partners
Professional marketing materials and CPA-focused resources
Dedicated support for affiliate partners and their referred clients
CPA-ready reporting tools designed to integrate with existing accounting workflows

5. USE OF PLAID FOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNT CONNECTIONS

To provide our services, we utilize Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to connect with your financial accounts. By linking your accounts through Plaid, you authorize Plaid to access and transmit your financial information to us. This process is governed by Plaid's End User Services Agreement and Privacy Policy, which outline how your data is collected, used, and protected.

When you initiate a connection, Plaid may prompt you to enter your banking credentials or redirect you to your bank's authentication page to verify your identity. Plaid employs secure methods, including APIs and encryption, to handle your data responsibly. You can manage or revoke access to your financial data at any time via the Plaid Portal.

Plaid complies with applicable U.S. data protection laws, such as the Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA), and is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal information.

6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

We offer multiple subscription options designed to meet different professional needs:

Free Plan: Manual transaction entry with professional reporting capabilities
Pro Plan: Automated bank sync, receipt storage, and advanced features
Founder's Access: Lifetime access with premium features and early access to new tools

All payments are processed securely through our payment processor. You agree to keep your payment information current and accurate. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date through your account settings.

Free Trial: Pro Plan and Founder's Access include a 7-day free trial period. You may cancel during the trial period without charge.

7. ACCOUNT RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

8. USER DATA AND PRIVACY

By using our services, you grant us permission to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. All financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

9. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to misuse the service or use it for unlawful purposes. Prohibited actions include scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to breach the security of the platform.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content and code within RightOffs is the property of Socrates ONE LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

11. DISCLAIMERS

RightOffs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that your use of the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of generated reports with a tax professional.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Socrates ONE LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
